about this lily

Me at lake in CO

I am a new creature in Jesus Christ. At the age of five, I trusted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, believing that He rescued me from the punishment of sin by dying on the cross. Since that time my relationship with Jesus Christ has only grown. He is the love of my life and my Prince. He is my all in all. He is my King and I am His princess. Apart from Him, I am nothing and my life would be meaningless. He gives me hope and a future. I live each day for His glory. Only in Him alone have I found everlasting joy and contentment and fullfillment. Nothing can even begin to compare to that…absolutely nothing! As Paul stated quite well in Philippians 1:21 ~ “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

I have been so very blessed to be raised and homeschooled by my wonderful Godly parents, who have been such an incredible example of a life faithful to the Lord. It is my deepest desire to always seek to please the Lord in all that I do…to always strive to reach for the Promised Land and to NEVER pitch my tent in the wilderness.

I love to sit beside the water also or walk or drive near the water. It helps me
reflect and find answers to life’s questions. I find a lot of peace and feel
nearer to God when I am out in nature.

I remember my mother singing this song, only a few of the words are different. The lLord gave me this title this a.m. when I went to meet with him. The Lord is truly our power and our glory! Do you know if there is a CD with it on? and the music? You sound like a sister in the Lord. Thank you so much for posting this song. Lois
